Brown blood

Hey!

What is the longest you’ve ever had the brown, light bleeding that usually starts your period? Did it end up being something unusual?

I’m on cycle day 43. My period was “due” Friday. Sunday I started getting light cramping and first noticed the brown blood that usually means— full on red period is starting tomorrow.

It is now Wednesday afternoon and I’m still only experiencing minimal (but consistent) brown spotting.

pregnancy tests have all been negative, as recent as this morning.

I wrote to my doc via patient portal, but I’m obviously too impatient to wait for a reply 😂

Any ideas?
