If it meant I could live comfortably yes, if I was already living comfortably and money wasn’t at all a worry, then no probably not.

It depends who would be there for the kids while I’m away. If my partner had flexible hours and could compensate for me not being there, then I’d consider it. If it meant longer/more days in daycare, then I dont think I would

It would depend on how those 30-40 days land in the year. Is it 2-3 days a month? A week at a time? Different factors play into my decision

Not a chance, for myself or my husband. My husband was offered & turned down a travel-heavy position a couple years ago. (He now has his own business-- there are always options!) Being present for our son is a massive priority.

30-40 days a year isn't a lot. My husband seems to be gone for about that much with business trips. Sucks when he's gone, but it's not too terribly long so is perfectly bearable.
