Emergency D&C one week postpartum

Has anyone experienced this before? I was totally fine.. all of a sudden last night I started bleeding uncontrollably. Things got out of hand fast where I found myself in the back of an ambulance on the way to the ER where I had emergency surgery. I had no blood pressure. They stuck me over 20 times to find a vein. My doctor doesn’t know why this happened to me. I had no complications the whole pregnancy and routine vaginal birth. I am traumatized and very emotional about this. I had to leave my 2 year old and 7 day old baby behind.. they saw all of this happen while I was bleeding out on the bathroom floor 😭
