Losing virginity

Ok so, I’m 16 and I’ve been with my before for over a year. He and I have been through a lot together and I really believe that we’re going to stay together. But apart from that, I’d really like to lose my virginity to him but I can’t find the place to do it or exactly how to do it without my parents knowing. I know my parents would never let me have sex under their roof, neither would his parents and I definitely don’t want my first time to be in a car. So we were planning on getting a hotel, he’s in college and will be here for my birthday and I was hoping we could do something then. I was planning to tell my parents I was staying at a friends house, but I don’t want to involve my friends either, I also really don’t want to sneak out, although I could. Any tips on how to handle this?
