Anyone else!?

Does anyone else boyfriend act like you’re an idiot?? Like if I tell my boyfriend something that he’s never heard or doesn’t know, he’ll automatically shut it down by saying something along the lines of “um no, that isn’t true.” Or arguing with it instead of just simply saying “wow I didn’t know that”. For example, i just told me bf gender does play a small roll in how much your car insurance will be. (I know from first hand experience) and he just said “no.” And I said “yes it does. I know what I’m talking about sometimes.” And he said “okay yeah sure, we’ll go with that.” Like why??? It pisses me off so much and makes me feel like he thinks I’m a dumbass.
