Choosing baby names

So I have a little story and a quick question.

My friends and I were having a quick chat on future baby names just because it came up in conversation and this is the conversation that ensued between my friends who are in a relationship.

Female friend: “These are the baby names I want” (proceeds to say the baby names)

Male friend: “Uh I don’t really like those baby names”

Female friend: “Uh I don’t care, If you want me to carry your seed, I’m naming them and that’s it.”

Me: “Don’t you think that’s a little sexist? Don’t you think it’s right for the dad to at least LIKE the baby name?”

Female friend: “No because he’s not the one who’s carrying it for 9 months.”

Me: “Yeah but you wouldn’t have anything to carry if it wasn’t for him.”

Our other friends started to agree with me that she’s being a little harsh and he joked saying he was gonna adopt a kid behind her back and she came out and said “I’d divorce you on spot” in a very serious tone. While I understand this is their lives to live, I can’t help but disagree with how she’s treating my friend. My guy friend is completely upset and refuses to talk to us now and she doesn’t care because she’s so set in her ways. Is she being a little harsh or is this a common thought?
