Does anybody else hate when your FWB does things that only a bf would do?

I’ve crushed on him for years but finally got over it. We became good friends later on. Had no intention of ever sleeping with him but recently, it’s happened a few times. I’m assuming we’re friends with benefits but I’ve never really asked him. I always assumed it’s just sex and no hand holding or cuddling involved. Ever. He loves to do all that and even when we sleep together. Is this normal? I always thought that’s something you do with someone you care about. Can someone explain this to me?

I would never assume anything when it comes to relationships. Clear communication is key. Ask him! 
I think a FWB relationship can absolutely include cuddling and hand-holding though. You don’t have to treat each other like pieces of meat, you can treat each other like human beings even if you don’t have an exclusive relationship. But just ask him what’s up to get clear on it!

I think fwb boundaries are the boundaries you set up between one another! Some say it’s strictly sex some say some cuddling is okay!

Well, I wouldn't assume ANYTHING without it directly being said. So you should probably talk to him about it. 
And, 
Sex is emotional for most people, even if it's casual, a majority of people will want to kiss & cuddle, probably even talk with clothes on, at times. Lol
In all of my casual or FWB relationships, there has been an emotional component, and I only sleep with people I care about & respect, who I connect to on multiple levels... but that's just me & yeh it's a way to get hurt, 
But i think it's ridiculous for people to believe sex can just be sex. Like. Come on now, you guys 😂 hook up culture tried to play a joke on a lot of us, well im not falling for it! Most people are not really like that, it seems. Sex is usually a bit deeper than that, even if the purpose isn't commitment at all or anything like that.

My fwb is a true to friend to me. Cuddling, watching movies, asking each other how school and work has been, talking to each other about family problems and other non sexual things are a part of our friendship. He even said he's down to start going on dates to the movies and stuff. This doesn't bother me at all, I appreciate his friendship.
However if you're uncomfortable you wouldn't be wrong for speaking up and setting some boundaries
