Found my boyfriend texting his ex and other females but was flirting with them, when asked he said that “well I didn’t have sex with them”. He doesn’t understand that I’m upset and maybe there’s a double standard. If a girl cheats on a guy the guy absolutely may leave. But if they do it they expect us to understand. Doesn’t it matter if it’s an ex , current person.. I’ve never cheated on any of my ex’s or current SO.

No, it's not really cheating, butwhy does the word matter as much as its still not right and hurt you & disrespected the relationship. 
And yeah, everyone is biased towards themselves. Trust your own feelings, you are totally justified to be upset!

It doesn’t matter if it’s cheating or not. The bottom line is that he is engaging with other women in a way that makes you feel unsafe in your relationship. That makes your partner look like he is not trustworthy. When a man is not worthy of your trust, he is not worthy of you.

if you think its cheating, then its cheating. every relationship has different standards as to what is considered cheating. tell him that it makes you uncomfortable and frustrated, if he tries to understand then maybe stay with him. if he doesn’t and blows off the problem then leave him
