Tips for teaching your baby to walk ?

My daughter turned 1 about two weeks ago. She’s perfectly able to walk. Balances properly and all. She just won’t do it lol. I’m not sure if there’s something I should be doing to help her or not. Any tips ?

If she doesn't want to, she doesn't want to. Don't worry, she'll want to at some point. Give it time.

My son was like that for a few months. Would sit on the floor and cry to be picked up or to grab him a toy a few meters away... 
We just encouraged him to walk and it eventually faded away... some days were better than others though. Be patient, it’s most likely just a phase.

Leave her be. If she knows how but doesn’t want to she’s just not quite ready. They will walk when they are ready. My son didn’t walk until 16 months. We did everything to help him but never pushed it. It was just something he did on his own time.

Really, you don't have to do anything. My youngest was 14 months before she walked. She was able to but she could get around faster by crawling. Eventually she decided she wanted to walk instead and yours will too. They go at their own pace.
