Would you go or not?

Okay so, I’m not sure if this is where I post it...but I feel guilty and I wanted to know others opinions...
My husband works on the road. About 4-5 hours away. We were seeing each other every weekend, until lately he has been working 7 days a week. Last week my 1 year old, (16 months to be exact), drove up and spent the weekend with him. He worked all day Saturday, but actually got to be off Sunday so it was nice. But him and I never really get time together alone, without the baby...so I was thinking of leaving him with my mom and going to see my husband this weekend by myself. He will most likely work both days this weekend. So I was going to go up Friday night (after I got off at 6), and then leave Sunday morning when he went into work. 
I work Monday-Friday 7am-6pm....so I don’t feel like I get as much time with my son as I used to either. I stayed home until he was 1. I also am going to a concert tomorrow, so I won’t get my son until late tomorrow night either. 
What I am asking, is, should I just stay this weekend at home with my son? Or should I not feel guilty for going to see his dad without him? What would you do?

Missing a whole weekend with baby for really minimal time with husband (since he's working both days) doesn't seem like a good tradeoff imo. Can't you pick a weekend where he has a day off & go up for just that day & night? Less time away from baby & more time with husband seems like a win-win.

Ideally I would wait for a weekend he at least has one day off, but if that’s not happening anytime soon then take what you can get. 
Since he’d be working the whole day Saturday though, would it be an option to bring your child and your mom with you? Then you and your mom you can enjoy the day together with your child and your mom could just stay in with your little one Saturday night while you and your husband have a date night.

I would 100% go and not feel guilty about it. I’m a firm believer that a strong relationship is important when you have kids. It also gives your child an opportunity to be with grandparents, which I believe is important and a special bond.

You NEED time with your husband. I know it’s tough because you want time with your son too, but sometimes your marriage needs to come first. A healthy marriage is so important.

Couples need alone time together, even more so after you have children. I think it's a great idea for you 2 to have some alone time. Bring some sexy lingerie and have a nice bubble bath with candles lit for him to come home to after work and give each other an erotic massage.
