mirena IUD removal ( Tim warning)

looking for some advice or see of anyone else has experienced the same thing.. tuesday I had my IUD removed ( my IUD was sloving falling out and have been having issues with irregular periods have had it in for over a year) anyways IUD was removed Tuesday had some light spotting which was to be expected was also told I will more then likely end up having a small period. Thursday I started bleeding some what heavy. Friday I started to lose small clots. yesterday and today I have been losing alot of big clots ( about the size of ping pong balls ) and have started having some painful cramps. so I guess what I am asking is. Is this normal after an IUD removal or should I be concerned and go to a clinic???
