Vehicle upgrade opinions?

So my 2016 Cruze is almost paid off (about a year left). I really like it but I have three kids already and need at least one more seat to accommodate for the new baby. I really don’t want a van... ideas for safe/cheaper/good gas mileage for our new addition? At least 6 seats but prefer 7 (especially if I find out it’s twins...yikes).  Thanks!

I was completely anti van. I wanted a 3 row suv for so long. Well when our car was in the shop we had a Ford Explorer as a rental. Had 3 rows but it was hard getting into the 3rd row and there was zero trunk space. We just got a Honda Odyssey mini van and I am absolutely in love. Easy access to third row and the trunk space fits so much without having to put seats down. Will never go back to an suv. Even my husband who has always refused to even get in one fights me over driving it. (Gas mileage is phenomenal in it too)

I have a Ford Explorer, it is great. My mom has a Traverse and I like it as well.

I love my traverse, the way smooth drive it is on the highway and how roomy it is.  My last car was a ford Taurus.  So I went from a low to ground  to high off the ground.

I was very anti van, but bit the bullet and am so glad I did. They really offer a lot of advantages over SUVs.

I have a Chevy equinox currently with one kiddo and another on the way and I really like it, so if I ever feel like I need more space/3rd row I would definitely consider the Chevy Traverse. We also looked at the Buick Enclave when my husband was looking for a new car and those are really nice and safe.

We just got at the beginning of this year, a 2015 GMC Acadia and we love it. Not new but new to us! We have 3 kids 3 and under and it’s amazing. Only down fall we have with it is there isn’t a lot of trunk room for going on trips but we went from a GMC Sierra truck to this, so for we make it work and it feels like a Cadillac to us 🤷🏻‍♀️ lol

Don't  have any specific to recommend but research cross-overs. They aren't Vans and they aren't Jeeps but indetween.

Guess it depends on what you need? I have a trax right now and I'm looking at a Travers, Acadia or Honda Pilot. All have 3 rows. I definitely want one that has a bench for 2nd row. My mother has a suburban with close to 200,000 and if they weren't so dang expensive I'd consider getting one.
