Question about gas drop! Please please help!

My baby is 8 weeks old and poops 2 days once. It has been 2 days that she's been very gassy and quite fussy, gave her gripe water and that didn't work. So today I went to get gas drop and use it in her bottle for feeding. Within one feed she is a complete different baby and she poops right away! My questions are:

1. Could this mean that my baby needs to poop everyday so that she's less fussy?

2. Can I give her the gas drop everyday although she doesn't seems fussy or in pain?

Sorry if my questions seems stupid. I'm really worried.
