How Worried Should I Be?

Meredith • Wife❤️ Mommy to a handsome 5 yo👦🏻 and boy/girl twins!!👶🏻👶🏻

I got a call today from my OB office that my urine sample they collected on Monday had protein in it. They said I needed to do a 24 hour urine test and that it could mean that I may develop pre eclampsia. I have no other symptoms. Had my BP taken today at MFM and it was 112/6?. Took it later on in the evening at home and it was 9?/6? (don’t remember exactly) The only time my feet/ankles swell is if I am sitting for a long period of time (a work day) and they go down when I put them up. I’m currently pregnant with twins and I’ll be 24 weeks on Sunday. How worried should I be that this may turn into pre eclampsia? I want to keep these babies in as long as possible. Is there anything I can do to help the situation? I know I need to increase my water intake and change my eating habits as I haven’t been doing a great job of either. I’m pretty nervous and scared.
