Went in without a birth plan and it went PERFECT💙

Yesterday morning October 17, 2019 we went into the hospital to get induced, we got into the room at about 10:30am and got started on Pitocin around 11. Dilated at a 3 we waited to pop my water. Around 1:30pm my doctor came in and piped it, and let me tell ya, there was A LOT, they had to change the whole bed, it was all over the floor and it was still gushing out after! She probably put the stick up there 4-5 times with huge gushes every time, even the doctor and nurse were surprised how much there was! Around 2pm I got my epidural and they put some pressure cuffs on my legs to keep the blood flow on and it felt nice, like I was getting a mini massage on my legs, I dilated about 2-3 centimeters every hour, around 5 I started to feel a lot of pressure down there and the nurse told me to ride it out a little bit, about 30 min later it started to feel like I should push, the nurse came in and checked me thinking I would be about a 9, HE WAS READY I was fully dilated and they called the doctor, the only things we asked is that my fiancé could hand him to me and delay chord cutting, the doctor and nurses four all ready and we started pushing! I pushed through 2 contractions! About a total of 6 pushes and he was here! Born at 6:10pm weighing 7 lbs 14.5oz and 20 inches long! Alistair Cole Harness 💙
