Not sure if it’s yeast but that’s a really bad diaper rash. Make sure you are changing baby often and wiping his bum until their is no poop on the wipe. After you can use a good diaper rash cream. Extra strength Desetin works great.

Turns out it is a yeast infection, they gave us a prescription cream! Hoping little guy's bottom will heal up soon!

Really bad diaper rash. You need to bath him, dry is completely, put some diaper cream on (Aquaphor, A &D, or Desitin are the best) and when my son was that bad, I had to get some safe baby Caldesene powder per my doctor (pic below). Change his diaper every time it’s wet for the next few days and that should clear it up.

I'm son gohad that same rash and I changed him constantly. the doctor had to prescribe a cream for it. id call his doctor maybe they can call something in for it.
