My 6 month old has a cold, What can I give him?

Question

So my 6 month old got a cold from my 3 year old. He has a cough and runny nose and slightly warm but no high temperature 
I also breastfeed him I don’t know if that matters 
But I cannot see him in pain, but since he is 6 months I don’t know medicine is safe to give him and what I should give him. 
And if I can give him medicine how many ML do I give him in the little syringe thing￼?

Unfortunately there is nothing available (at least where I am) that is proven safe for under 2 year olds with a cold. 
You can obviously give acetaminophen (tylenol) or ibuprofen (advil, motrin) if baby has pain or a fever. 
I hope baby gets better soon - breastfeeding does help them fight it off!

My doctor said not to give a baby under 1 zarabees (idk if that's how it's spelled😂) bc it has honey in it and children under 1 can't have honey bc of the bacteria.

Nose Frida paired with saline drops first to loosen mucus was a life saver when my daughter had a cold at this age. We also got a humidifier which also seemed to help.

This has natural stuff in it.  Safe for 2 months and up.  My nurse at the ped.  Recommend this for me. If the cough doesnt go away see a doctor so it doesnt go into the lungs. If so they have nubilzer(cant spell) that you can have.  Get a humidifier for your room or sit your baby on your lap and have the hot shower on.  Both will help.
