Indicative of miscarriage?

I had my hcg drawn 48 hrs apart the first draw was Saturday 21341 and the second Monday 23455. My midwife says that this could be indicative of a miscarriage. I’m going in for an ultrasound today and I’m very nervous. I’m 7 weeks and 1 day today (Wednesday). Has anyone heard of this happening and everything being okay? I’m not having any bleeding.

Post ultrasound update:

Baby is measuring 6 weeks 5 days and has a heartbeat of 132. Doctor thinks the blood work was off or maybe just slow on the increase. Will come back to double check in 3 weeks that everything is still on track. But they said everything’s very normal at this point.
