Do you think its greedy to have a second baby shower?

I personally do. Especially of you're already well-off. If people want to give you gifts that's different. What do you think?

No. I don’t think it’s greedy to celebrate another baby’s well-coming. Well off or not, if a family wants to celebrate a new baby, they’re more than welcome to without it being greedy.

i don’t understand why anyone even cares who has baby showers and how many they have. it’s not that big of a deal. let people enjoy things and move on. if you don’t like it then don’t do it or don’t go.

I’m upper class and I’m going to have a second baby shower. Why? Because every baby deserves to be celebrated and loved. Every baby deserves brand new things. 
Anyone of any economic class can have as many showers as they want. I’m going to have a shower for every baby I have and I have that right. It’s perfectly fine. There is nothing wrong with being wealthier and having showers for all babies. 
I don’t understand why it upsets you so much. You aren’t obligated or required to attend them.

Never. A baby deserves to be celebrated, and if someone can’t or doesn’t want to contribute financially/with a gift, then they don’t have to 🤷🏽‍♀️

I think every child should be celebrated and that's exactly what a baby shower is for, to celebrate the new life. It is not about gifts, I guess maybe to some it is but I personally don't know anyone that's so stuck up.

People say it's that babies deserve to be celebrated but it's not about the baby it's about the mom. The baby isnt even born yet so they dont know they're being celebrated. If it's truly for the baby host a sip and see party after so people can meet the baby and dont ask for gifts or make a registry. Then I'll buy what women say about it being about celebrating each child rather than being greedy and wanting gifts.

I think it depends on the situation. Both a cousin and my bff had a 10 YEAR span between babies so no one thought twice about throwing a second shower. If they're like a couple years apart then you do you, but dont be a brat if people decide not to come or dont spend as much

I had 3 baby showers lol. My sister surprised me with one, my sister in law with another, and my coworkers with the third... in my defense, I said from the beginning of my pregnancy that I didn’t want a baby shower because it seemed like a waste of money to me 🤷🏻‍♀️ but clearly my family doesn’t care what I have to say 😂

I’ll have a shower each time. Ultimately its about celebrating the new baby! Rich or poor. It isn’t “bring me gifts or else” party. What matters most is friends and family coming together. That’s why I have a big thing everyone signs so nobody even has to buy a card. If they are financially able to bring a gift, great! Thanks for coming! If they aren’t, great! Thanks for coming! If it annoys you so much, don’t have any showers and don’t go to any. I’d hate to be your friend and invite you and this is what you really think.
