No drugs or alcohol, hair tied up, no extra pillows or blankets etc. if you’re a heavy sleeper I’d advise against it

I been cosleeping with my baby since he was born, he’s now 6 months. He wouldn’t sleep on his own so I put him with me and ever since he’s been sleeping thru out the night. His doctor did advise to lean him into sleeping in the crib just cause it will be hard for me to get him to sleep on his own later on. But as of right now he’s gonna sleep with me, I love cuddling with him lol it’s the only way I can sleep 💙

I’ve been co sleeping with my daughter basically since birth (when she was really little she was still put to bed in her crib, but I would usually bring her in our bed for morning feeds) and she’s now a healthy, thriving 7 month old. I think as long as you’re following the safe sleep guidelines and your baby is otherwise healthy, you should be okay. Mamas have been sleeping beside their babies since the beginning of time. 💕
