My boyfriend always puts his parents before me!!!

Everytime I was told "find a guy who's family oriented" never told me about guys who are too family oriented

My boyfriends mom is so toxic and so manipulative she constantly pins us against eachother, talks shit to me when hes not around and if I confront her about it I'm the bad guy for back talking to my elders and disrepsecting his mom in his and her eyes.

If I give advice he blows me off if she says the exact same thing he listens

Let me get to why I am ranting

We made plans to move 800 miles away in the summer. So of course he tells her and now she wants to move there.

The place hes working at is closing in a couple of weeks for the winter so he decided to take a 2nd job so when his place of work closes he has a job already, and I was recently laid off but we both need to save up. But his parents want to renovate the house to sell so hes talking about quitting his 2nd job to help with renovations so that means he'll have no job in a few weeks

Like are you fucking kidding me!? We need the money too. I matter too. His dad and his older brother are fucking contractors and have renovated houses for a living in the past and his dad only works 2 days a week so he has plenty of time to work on the house. I cant believe hes so quick to drop everything to give them all his time and money. He needs to focus on himself and me we will never move out or make enough if he doesnt work
