Sleeping too long?
We definitely have our problems, don't get me wrong, but baby has basically been sleeping 10-11 hours at night since 7 weeks. I always had to wake her when it was time to feed when she was a newborn. When I do wake her, she does a lot of stretching with her eyes closed first, then opens them and seems to be alert and not lethargic, so I'm encouraged by that. But last night she went to sleep at 650 pm and I decided to wake her when she was still out at 715 am. We EBF and I'd woken up to right breast leaking a little on the bed, which doesn't usually happen anymore, just leak from the opposite side during a feed. I do have anxiety so, while I enjoy the sleep (obviously), once I'm awake and realize how long it's been, I can quickly get pretty panicky about it. Am I worrying too much? Weight gain is amazing So that's not a concern, thankfully. I guess part of it is that we have a lot for diabetics in my family, both type 1 and 2. What if she's sleeping so long because her blood sugar is low? And I just crazy?
