Forearm tattoo questions!

I’m getting a tattoo on my inner forearm today, and although I’m really excited, I’m worried about it because I have work directly after the tattoo (I work in an office setting)! I have an inner bicep tattoo, it starts from the crease of my elbow and goes just until the start of my arm pit. When I got that tattoo, it really hurt and my arm was so swelled I couldn’t do anything with it for a couple days and ended up taking a sick day the first 2 days of having it!

I also have a tattoo on my thigh, and that one I felt didn’t hurt at all.

The tattoo on my forearm is really detailed, so I know that does make it hurt a tad bit more, but I’m wondering if anyone who’s gotten a forearm tattoo before can let me know how bad it hurt? Or how it is compared to the inner bicep or thigh? Thanks!
