When is the first sonogram

Will you get a sonogram when you first find out your pregnant during your first appointment? How soon can they do a sonogram? I want my husband to be there but If all they are going to do it draw blood I don’t find him taking off work for that necessary

It's different for every doctor. Call and ask them. For my doctor, we just have one at 20 weeks. The first appointment at 8 weeks was just filling out papers with a nurse, then the 12 week one was hearing the heartbeat and actually meeting with the ob.

Just call ahead and ask them if you are gonna get an ultrasound or not that day. Some do some dont. With my first, I had my 1st appt little over 8weeks, did a lot of background, paperwork, urine samples, and an ultrasound as confirmation.
