Would this be wrong?

Would it be wrong for me to make my boyfriend cut off one of his best friends because we hate eachother? For a little backstory, me and his friend have always butted heads, whenever my boyfriend and I would get in a fight his friend would be the first person to trashtalk me and tell him to break up with me. He’s generally an asshole and my boyfriend knows this. Anytime he gets the chance he will be a dick towards me, call me names and try to piss me off. My boyfriend has told him to stop but he doesn’t. I’m just tired at this point because he always tries to make him take his side, and alienate me. Also they haven’t met in real life, they met over xbox and talk on the phone and social media.
