2 babies close together?

I have a 13 month old son who’s my world and my daughter is scheduled to be born in a week. I’m feeling all sorts of emotions. For one my son is my baby and I’m going to have to give our new baby so much attention which she deserves but I’m worried my son is going to be sad or confused. Can anyone else relate?

Honestly what I'm scared of, my son will be 17 months when our daughter will be born. My mom said just to include them in everything you do with the baby.

My son will be 14 months when my second baby is due (I’m currently 36w1d). This baby was planned and we were thrilled when we found out I was pregnant again! But I’m definitely starting to feel the stress/sadness when I think about my first baby feeling forgotten or not loved, etc. I know in the end it’ll all be worth it and not to rush anything but once they’re older, I think they’ll love being so close in age! We can do this!!!

I sure can! My son turned 1 on Sept. (6 weeks early) and just had his sister on September too so they are a year apart. It will be a challenge for sure, some days are better than the other but i woudn’t change anything.

I’m in the same situation! Our son will be 13 months old when his little brother gets here in 5 weeks & I’m a nervous wreck. I’m going to have a lot of help from my husband when the new baby gets here, but  I’m going to make sure that I take time out of every day to do something with my firstborn. Things like read a book with him, play with him for a little bit in his room, take him on a walk around the block, etc.

I’m definitely feeling some anxiety with this too. My son is 14 months and my little girl will be here in less than a month. I know she’s going to be taking up a lot of my time and my son is so close to me. We started him in daycare a few hours twice a week just to help him get used to being away from mom for a bit. I’m hoping that helps but right now he’s still needing lots of me time. I know my husband will be great with our daughter and will do whatever he can to help so I can spend some alone time with our son. Plus I think involving our son in any way we can will help too.

I can definitely relate! My daughter turns 14 months today and I’m having my second girl today! I’ve never spent the night away from my daughter so these next couple days in the hospital are going to be so hard. And I’m having a c section so it breaks my heart knowing she’ll be so confused as to why I won’t be able to pick her up for the next week probably.

I’m hear you! My daughter will be 17 months when I’m due and she is my world! My husband and I were TTC for 4 years and we were finally blessed with her! She means absolutely everything to me and she is such a “mama’s girl” 💗
I feel like I let her down by getting pregnant so soon. Im excited for the new baby but I just feel like my daughter deserved to have her mama and daddy to herself for longer. I’m scared that she’s gonna be sad that she has to share me and I’m scared that I won’t be able to pay her as much attention and that it will hurt her. She’s never even stayed with anyone but me, not even for an hour. When we go to the hospital she’ll have to stay with someone.
I’m 26 weeks right now and I try to spend every available moment with my daughter! I do my best to make her laugh and to hold her tight every chance I get and let her know that I love her more than she could ever understand!
