Pedophiles on the rise? “Trigger warning” child abuse

I just watched the body cam footage of the rescue of the 8 year old Texas girl who was kidnapped in broad daylight while she was walking with her mother. I was physically sickened by this footage and the thought of her being raped for hours before she was found. I live in Oklahoma and there is a Facebook group that is run by 2 men and they expose sexual predators on Facebook live after having conversations for days to weeks. Literally can’t throw a rock it seems without hitting one of these people. My question is... do you think this has gotten worse over the past several years? Perhaps social media brings light to the problem that has always existed to this capacity. I don’t want to live in fear but I worry about my children all the time. It seems you really can’t trust anyone. Thoughts?
