Anyone from Puerto Rico.?

Hi ladies !
My fiance and I are planning a one last trip before the baby comes and we are looking into going to San Juan Puerto Rico for 5 nights. 
I'll be about 23 weeks pregnant by that time, so wondering if this is a good/safe vk spot. 😊

My bf is from Puerto Rico I've been there a couple of times. I refuse to go while pregnant. The area his family lives has swarms of mosquitoes. You can catch a lot of things from those bugs. Idk maybe im just paranoid. I always get bit a lot more then most people. I just don't want to chance it. There is Zika, and dengue fever a bunch of others. When I was in old San Juan though I didn't see any mosquitoes. If you do go bring so much bug spray and don't go out around dusk or at night. Basically pour it all over your body. Maybe in the tourist area it's better but the small towns I must of got bit over 100 times. I wasn't pregnant back then and I was scared that I was going to catch something. Just be careful. Also in a big city there is a lot of theft. So dont show off anything expensive. Dont go out at night either. And you dont go anywhere alone always travel with someone.

Hi, cdc downgraded the warning because no new cases have been reported this year. My husband has a work trip to PR in 2 weeks and I'm very tempted to go, I'm 28 weeks pregnant. I'll find out from my doctor Dec 3 what she thinks and keep you posted if you've not already decided.

Yes Puerto Rico is beautiful and San Juan is really safe ! I went in august and had the time of my life.

It at least used to have high Zika risk. Check the CDC website.
