Should I send this to “confirm” us hanging out?

Long story short, this guy and I had a good thing going (hung out twice, just made out and cuddled, got to know eachother a little) then I had a depressive episode (I have medical depression that’s under control this was just totally random) and in an effort to keep him from my negative feelings, I said I’d be going to bed and I guess he took it personally and was confused about if I was actually into him and that we may be moving too fast emotionally. I told him it wasn’t personal, I am into him, yada yada, but now he’s acting different (not flirting anymore or making an effort to hang out when he initiated conversations and the hanging out). So thanksgiving I asked if he wanted to hang out Saturday night, he said “maybe, I work a double”. I was thinking about sending this text so I can somewhat confirm if he can: Hey, could you please let me know by 9 pm if you can/want to hang out tomorrow? That way I can have time to get ready and plan my night. We can just grab something to eat (at Steak ‘n Shake maybe cause it’s the only place I know open so late) and I can get to know you better that way.

I don’t want to be pushy but I’d make other plans if he doesn’t want to hang out
