Question about McKenna shot?

My first was born at 35 weeks and no one knew why.
My second was born at 37 weeks but i had the McKenna shot from 18-34 weeks.
Does anyone know if i will have to get them again with third pregnancy? 
I hated going to the office every week. And having to find childcare for 2 for a 10 minute visit seems ridiculous

I think they are recommended for anyone having a baby less than 37 weeks. With my 2nd, I had compounded progesterone injections and my husband gave me my shots. With my 3rd, my clinic would only do branded Makenna and they are SO expensive and I had to get them in-clinic. I met my individual OOP max with 2 injections so be prepared for that if you have a high deductible health plan. Definitely ask what your options are BEFORE starting. I was told bad information from my insurance company and thought Makenna was covered at 100% as a preventative but it wasn’t. And if you can get progesterone compounded and sent to your house that will be the easiest way to administer injections every week.
