Would you put up with a SO who hasn’t seen your family in 2 years and still won’t make the effort?

I’ve lived with him for over 3 years now and we want to be together forever. However I’ve tried talking to him about this so many times. He went to quite a bit of my family get togethers the first year we were together and then he just stopped. He says he loves my family. He also says he hates family time, he doesn’t care about that stuff, and he always says “what about all the times I saw them?” As if since he did before it makes up for the rest of his life and he doesn’t have to anymore.

My parents think he doesn’t like them anymore and so they don’t like him as much anymore. He was the first boyfriend who my whole family LOVED. So this sucks.

I told him many times that I wanted him to see them at least once this year. I tried making arrangements and he would make an excuse or flat out say no. Now it’s obviously December and he leaves in a week to go see his family for a month in another country and I know he has no intention of seeing my family before he leaves.

He says “if your parents come here I will see them and we can go out to eat” they only live a hour away and he won’t make the effort to go see them with me.
