Help please

Im seeing someone and things are definitely going to get more serious. I just don’t know how to go about telling him that i have herpes. Its never an easy conversation to have. When i last dated 2 plus years ago i would say it when i was tipsy or drunk cause its easier. However i don’t want to do it that way nor do i even drink now a days. So some help on how to go about this would be great. Im guessing doing it over text isn’t great? Lmfao although i feel it may be easier. But yea help please open to all suggestions. It is greatly appreciated.
