Baby prefers one breast over the other?

The past few days my 9 week old will keep pulling off my left after just a few ducks and seems fussy but when I put him on the right he’s fine. Also it seems like because of that my right is always full and my left isn’t. I try to keep him on the left as long as I can to keep up the supply on that side but he’s so fussy i always have to switch. My right one is getting too full now. Any advice to get him to eat on both again?

my LO was the same. preferred the left because he like laying down on his right. so i did the football hold on the other boob so he’s still laying his preferred way. this is bc his neck is stronger on one side i think. once her got older, i was then able to cradle him on either boob, and now it’s an issue of flow. so i help to express milk to get him to latch initially. and i’ll continually massage throughout to help the flow. he’s now 2 months, and i can tell he’s more efficient at latching and sucking in both sides.

You can try changing feeding position, like do the football hold instead.  My LO was doing the same and a visit to the chiropractor actually fixed it because he had a very tight locked shoulder and switching sides was no issue after that.

That happened to me for a while but it went away. I kept offering both as normal and after about a week everything went back to normal

Do you have a fast letdown potentially? You may need to prop your legs up to slow the flow. Or it could be position that the baby doesn't like
