Cluster Feeding?
My baby will be 2 weeks tomorrow. Normally I have to wake her up at night to eat every 3 hours but the past couple of nights she's been waking up every 1.5 to 2 hours to eat. I feed her until she falls back asleep which is usually 15-20 minutes. Last night she would nurse for about 10 mins then sleep for an hour and a half, nurse for another 10 minutes, and so on. Well now today she's been nursing for about 6 or 7 minutes, cat napping for about 20ish minutes then eating again. I can't get anything done. I barely got through a 5 min shower. She was cluster feeding a week ago when my milk was coming in, is this cluster feeding again? If so, I don't understand why because I actually make more milk than she can drink. I pump an extra 6-8oz a day on top of feeding her. I've only pumped once today in an effort to keep from making even more milk. Is this normal? Is she already going through a growth spurt?
