pregnancy announcement on Christmas?

how should i tell everyone? i dont have an ultrasound picture yet, i’m hoping to get one before. but i have a son that’s 1. how should i announce it?

We did this at thanksgiving over a year ago and told my mom that we got her the most stunning earrings to match her favorite sweater. 
In reality we gave her Peach baby food (my first food) and a spoon. 
It happened so fast that it’s all we could come up with. I wanted my siblings to know and support us bc I just knew I’d need the supper. And I did! Totally worth it.

I'm pregnant with my first and we announced to my extended family at our annual Christmas party. I slipped it in to casual conversation and watched half the ro do a double take. It was hilarious.  
When we announced to my husband family on Thanksgiving he said he wanted to get a group photo. He recorded a video instead and pretended to take a picture saying "say cheese!! O wait Mom wasnt looking, let's try again. Say my wife is pregnant!" So we had their reaction on video.

Are you wanting to just announce to family? If so & since it’s so last minute. You could have a special present for your son to open while everyone watches. It could just be like a shirt that says “big brother” with some smal baby items (bottle, paci) if your looking for a social media post there’s lots of cute ones on Pinterest

We did the balloons. We had blue and pink balloons in a large box (didn’t know sex until birth). Wrapped it and have it to his grandparents to open. It was fun to watch everyone figure it out. Some got it right away, and others it took a few minutes lol
