Baby powder on baby girl?

Hi I’m going to have a baby girl in 5 weeks and I’m still shopping for her things, one thing I consider on getting is baby powder for obvious reasons but is that ok to put on baby girls ? Especially with the whole Johnson and Johnson lawsuits on ovarian cancer? I use it on my boy but I don’t feel like I should use it on my baby girl. My mom just says to don’t put it “there” but I said all that shifts anyways when the diaper closes. I wouldn’t want to do anything to put her life at risk and that might sound ridiculous so sorry but any advice would be appreciated.
