So my son was potty trained quick and early. We introduced him at 12 months and he nailed it by 18 months. He was always good about no accidents through out the day but whenever he goes to bed or takes a nap he wets himself. He turned 6 in October and he still wets himself every night! I have brought it up to the pediatrician many times and they keep saying "it's normal. Some boys wet the bed until age 8".

I have talked to my son about it many times and he does not do it on purpose or because he doesn't want to go to the bathroom. He says he never knows when it happens. I believe him because he is very hard on himself about it. I have tried everything to get him to stop. I have tried putting a pad on the bed and keeping him in his underwear so he can feel it but that doesn't do anything. I have tried cutting off liquids two hours before bed and I have tried waking him up in the middle of the night to go potty. Nothing works he will still wet the bed...
