Becoming a labor and delivery nurse

I would like some advice. The dream of my life has been to become a labor and delivery nurse. Unfortunately life took me to a different path, and I couldn't go to college. I'm currently married with a child that soon will be going full time to school.

Where should I start?

I'm from a foreign country, so It's difficult for me yo understand American education.

Is there any online programs that can help to start?
