My cousin’s wife was going through pictures of my aunt’s wedding photos. She told my aunt, “aunty you look so beautiful in your wedding! None of your daughters look like you.”
So my aunt was offended by this statement but I know my cousin’s wife did not mean it that way, but at the same time, I could see why it was taken the wrong way.

I don't see anything wrong with that statement. Sometimes, it's a fact that some people's children dont look like them. I have 4 children, not a single one look anything like me. If someone were to say that to me I'd just say I know.

My brothers ex used to be the same way. My nephew is my brother’s twin. They look so much alike. And when he was a baby and people would say wow he is your twin she would get super mad and upset about it.
