kind of over it

i have been hooking up with this guy since september and all of december he was a little bit distant, then we went on winter break and we are both back in town and i texted him tonight asking if he wanted to come over and he said he would let me know but then never did. should i even bother asking him to come over again or move on? do i deserve an explanation or should i just let it be and not even worry about it? i'm kind of sad because i was starting to like him but i know i shouldn't be sad over someone who doesn't reciprocate anything
