This may be a silly question but ....
I cant seem to find an answer on google so I figured I’d ask here.
BACKSTORY: After our second child my husband and I decided that our family was complete and that he’d get a vasectomy which was scheduled for October 31. I found out a week before his vasectomy that we were pregnant with our third but he still went ahead with the vasectomy.
MY QUESTION: with the last two pregnancies, right before due date, my doctor recommended that we have lots of sex to help soften my cervix and it worked both times but here is my question. Is it the sperm that causes the cervix to soften or just the seminal fluid in general? Worried that since he’s “shootin blanks” that it won’t help this time preparing me for labor!
Any information/advice would be appreciated!
