Anyone else feeling overwhelmed?
I am 36+5 and just began to feel completely overwhelmed by the prospect of being a Mum, childbirth and everything that comes with it. I’ve been having nightmares and not getting great sleep which I don’t feel is helping. I’ve finished work now, thank goodness but still have some University assignments to complete before baby is here.
I think it’s just began to become really real and the extra strong braxton Hicks I’ve been feeling definitely aren’t easing my mind!
I was also supposed to go to a friends daughters birthday today, but due to pelvic pain I wasn’t able to go (diagnosed with SPD). She took it well initially and although was fine to me over message her partner and her started writing on Facebook about how people aren’t true friends for not coming. I now feel terrible! Even though deep down I know it’s not my fault and need to look after myself.
Sorry for the rant, but just needed somewhere to vent really 🤦🏻♀️ anyone have any advice?
