Constipated baby

My 5.5 month old is so constipated. I'm pretty sure has impacted bowels, is only a little bit of liquid is coming out and baby strains and strains and cries. I tried pulling legs up to belly and bicycling and a little extra fluids but baby won't take any juice. The doctor said to just keep doing what I'm doing, but it has been almost five days and baby has not had a poop, and that is very unusual.

TMI, but during the last diaper change I could see fecal matter trying to come out but baby was unable to push it out so I use a rectal thermometer to kind of give room, and a lot came out and it was very hard, it made the rectum bleed a little bit. Is my baby going to be okay or should I consult the doctor again?
