Does my piercing sound like it’s infected?

I got my ears pierced on Dec 23rd 2019 and they’ve been good until today. The piercing have been itchy and the skin around them is a bit red and sore. I went to clean them right now and there was a bit of yellow stuff on the back of one piercing. Is it infected? What do I do?
Update: one of them looks to be a bit swollen and is warm to touch compared to the other one 🙁

Definitely sounds like you could be allergic to the metal. I have to be so careful at what kind of earrings I wear. My ears will get super red and super hot and itchy and have crusty stuff on it when I’m allergic to the metal. It sucks

I'm allergic to current metals. You'll have to get real gold or get real sterling silver so you don't have a reaction.

I agree, go get real gold earrings. If it’s just the back, then backs might be plated with gold and it wears off after time. You should just be able to find real gold backs. I can’t wear anything that’s not real gold. Clean them with peroxide and a qtip but try a different pair of earrings. Just hold the qtip to your ear until it stops bubbling several times a day. Works like a charm!

Im not sure its infected, but do you know if youre allergic to the metal that your earing is made of? I was allergic to almost every metal when i was a teenager that my ears would swell and get itchy
