Microwaving bottles

Question: I have read over and over again not to microwave your baby’s bottle because it could cause hot spots, which I understand but it’s very easy to even that out by swishing or swirling the milk around in the bottle. I always test my baby’s bottle to make sure it’s not too hot but I guess I’m just confused as to why people make a big deal out of using the microwave when really the thing that should be taught is to make sure the milk is evenly heated.

Is there something I’m missing?

Thanks!!
