Postpartum question?

I had my daughter in April. She was my first, and I had a very small tear that only required 2 small stitches. Starting around 6 months postpartum, air has started getting trapped around my vagina. I’ve never had this issue before. Not really a big deal and it’s not really that bothersome. Just never experienced it before having a vaginal birth. Could it be from the small tear I had? Or is everything down there just changed after having a baby?
