Ativan and a glass of wine???

Question

So I have anxiety especially with flying. I am going on vacation tomorrow and have a few flights with layovers. My doctor gave me 1mg tablets of Ativan to take for the flights. I know you shouldn't drink much with it but do you think a glass of wine at a restaurant during a layover would be ok?

I'm not sure your body weight or tolerance to benzodiazepines but alcohol and benzos are not always the best combination. You may become forgetful, unsteady, drowsy and you will feel the effects of both significantly more than each on their own.
You may consider taking only half if you plan to mix it with alcohol.

As long as you arent going to be driving anywhere you should be okay. Just make sure you dont go over the one glass cause it can cause issues

Absolutely not! Your heart rate can drop and you can slip into a coma and die.
