Cramps after chemical pregnancy

I had a very early loss chemical pregnancy (was not late on my period - was actually a day early). I had normal period cramps, but cramps came back the day AFTER my period ended. Now my period has been over for several days and I woke up again with horrible cramping. Is this normal? Did you experience this?

I’m due to ovulate in about four days but typically do not experience ovulation cramps until the day of or before ovulation (and I’m using OPKs so I know I’m not ovulating now)
