Has anyone had a child diagnosed with adhd?

Basically I had noticed qwerks my daughter has since she was little and she is very different to my son, she is now in her second year of school and her teacher and school senco has reffered her to the health team, they did an assesment and are now referring her to an adhd team as they feel she meets all the criteria for it. I just wondered if anyone knows how long it will be before we get a yes or no? Was a bit confused by the call and not prepared at all to ask questions. Thanks
