Clogged ?

My NB has a clogged tear duct. Any advice? My pediatrician said just wipe with a warm cloth but it doesn’t seem to be working

I had that with my first and along with warm compressed the pediatrician said to lightly massage from their eye down their nose.

I wiped my daughters with a warm wash cloth dipped in black tea or chamomile tea. Worked pretty quickly

You just have to wait it out. I think my son was almost 9 months when his finally got better!

Yup, warm clean cloth, it might take a bit to work it’s self out, all 3 of my daughters had them. Do not put anything including breast milk in it, people will suggest it, with my first daughter it caused conjunctivitis.

Lightly massage near the tear duct like by the nose and a little under with your finger.

Mine took 4 months to clear with my first and 6 with my second. It’s because the canal between the tear duct and the area tears are made is narrow and it gets larger as they grow. Sometimes it can get infected and needs something to clear that but it’s actually genetic and will fix with time.
